Hey there! If we haven’t met, I’m Lisa Sansouci I‘m a singer, world traveler and live streamer from Los Angeles, California. I know you’ve been told not to trust strangers, so here’s a little bit about me:
In the years past, I spent a lot of my time following other people’s dreams. I jumped onto projects that resembled my truth but didn’t harness it. I joined bands that were fun, but didn’t necessarily suit my musical style. I took jobs that were interesting enough to keep me satisfied but they never really felt very inspiring. The further I strayed from my truth, the more I felt my body and soul deteriorating. I hit a low point where I knew I needed to make some sort of drastic change. Every time I thought back to the times in my life that I felt most inspired, it was always when I was exploring a part of the world that was completely foreign to me. I decided I was going to seek out those feelings again. I wanted to feel authentic. I wanted to smile more often and figure out what it was that made other people smile. Now I’m living a life of travel and exploration while finding new ways to inspire myself daily. I have been reintroduced to the beauty of life that I had forgotten, and I have found incredible motivation and love and excitement all over the world. I hope that some of the content on this blog can inspire some of you to do the same.
Admittedly, I tend to get a little overexcited about my adventures. Sometimes I don’t think through all of the details before I run off into the wilderness. It doesn’t help that I’m ridiculously clumsy. While I may never be the perfect planner, the mistakes I make in my travels might just help you avoid making them yourself. It’s not all clumsy awkwardness though. I have had some incredibly beautiful moments on the road that I would love to share with you.
Broadcasting my experiences in a live format has helped me to feel like I am able to really connect people to parts of the world they may not be able to visit. I love to find real relationships with people in my community and it’s amazing to be able to start a broadcast when I’m homesick and have an immediate virtual family by my side. It’s been great to meet some of these people face-to-face during my travels. If I’m coming to your part of the world, let me know! I’d love to meet all of you.
Other notes: I grew up mostly in northern Massachusetts. I graduated from the Berklee College of Music, where I got my degree in Music Business Management. Later I got my holistic health coach certification from Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I had been living in Los Angeles for 4 years before I moved out of my apartment, threw my things into storage and set out on this adventure.
I want to keep traveling until I have seen everything (Which obviously isn’t possible so.. forever.) My feet may stay in LA at times, but never for too long. 🙂
I’m glad you’re here. Wherever my “here” is right now.
